Just Peachy

Today starts the 13th week of our pregnancy, and everything is just peachy. Our sweet peach is 2.9 inches long, or about as wide as a large peach...and weighs in at a hefty .81 ounces! The baby's tiny body and large head are now beginning to catch up with each other and become proportional...no more alien looking baby here! The baby is also starting to learn some more motor skills, working on flexing his/her arms and legs. We won't be able to feel any movement for quit a while.

This weekend was an interesting weekend. I had to go to Costco on Sunday for a few items...ended up having a bout of morning sickness in the store. I had began to feel dizzy and nauseous and decided to sit down on a crate of apple juice. As I was sitting there looking rather green, a nice lady stopped and asked if I was ok....I explained that I was pregnant and not feeling well. She was nice enough to offer to help me to the check out and make sure I was ok. As I started to walk I could tell I was going to throw up...I saw a trash can and bolted...As I threw up and elderly lady handing out corn dog samples turned around in shock and asked if I was ok...the lady with me explained what was wrong...She told me not to worry and gave me a napkin to clean up...mortified, I was able to make it to the check out and to the car...I laughed when it was all over...I will be so glad when this part of the pregnancy decided to move on!
